Vajeh is designed with privacy in mind. We minimize data collection to only what is necessary for the App to function properly.
1.1 Information We Do NOT Collect:
- Your real name, email address, or phone number
- Your location data (GPS)
- Your contacts or photos
- Any personally identifiable information (PII)
1.2 Information We Automatically Collect:
- Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier created when you first open the App. This allows us to save your game progress locally and sync it across sessions. This ID cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Game Progress Data: Your game statistics such as words played, win/loss records, guess distribution, and current streak. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our secure servers.
- Device Information: Basic technical information like device type, operating system version, and app version. This helps us optimize the App for your device.
- Crash Reports: If the App crashes, technical diagnostic data is automatically sent to help us identify and fix bugs. This data does not include personal information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
- Save & Restore Progress: To save your game progress and allow you to continue where you left off.
- Improve Game Experience: To analyze aggregate gameplay patterns and improve game mechanics, difficulty balancing, and user experience.
- Bug Fixes & Stability: To identify and resolve technical issues that affect App performance.
- Analytics: To understand how users interact with the App in aggregate (e.g., most popular features, average session length).
We do NOT: Sell your data to third parties, use your data for targeted advertising, or share your data with marketers.
3. Third-Party Services
Vajeh uses the following third-party services to provide core functionality. These services have their own privacy policies:

4. Data Storage & Security
We take data security seriously:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
- Secure Infrastructure: Our backend is hosted on Google Cloud Platform, which provides enterprise-grade security.
- Local Storage: Game progress is primarily stored locally on your device using encrypted databases.
- Access Control: Only authorized team members have access to aggregated, anonymized analytics data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your anonymous game data for as long as you use the App. If you uninstall the App and do not reinstall within 12 months, your anonymous data may be automatically deleted from our servers.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can view your game statistics within the App at any time.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your anonymous game data by contacting us at the email below. Note that this will permanently erase your game progress.
- Opt-Out of Analytics: You can disable analytics collection through your device's privacy settings (Limit Ad Tracking on iOS, Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android).
7. Children's Privacy
Vajeh is a word puzzle game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect personal information from any users, we are compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations.
8. International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in the United States and European Union. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your anonymous data to these locations. All transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
- Displaying an in-app notification for material changes
